Do you allow pets?
No. Animals including dogs are not permitted in the Lodge or on the grounds.
Is smoking permitted?
No. Mt Joseph Lodge and all of the grounds are non-smoking of any type.
Does Mt. Joseph Lodge provide hair dryers, shampoo, soap, irons, etc.?
Yes! Each of the units is stocked with basic amenities including a hair dryer and iron and board. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans, paper towels and dishwasher soap. The bathroom is stocked with towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and basic shampoo and conditioner. The bedrooms have extra pillows and linens.
What is your minimum stay?
From June 16 until September 15, there is a 3-night minimum stay required. During the off season, Mt. Joseph Lodge has no minimum stay, and the Copper Lodge has a 2-night minimum stay.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
Does Mt Joseph Lodge allow early check-in?
Early check-in may be available. Call or email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How do I check in?
You will self check-in to the unit. We will provide the door code and check-in instructions a couple days prior to your stay via the email you provide on your reservation.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book directly through our website or by telephone. Our website uses secure checkout through PayPal. If you feel more comfortable, you may call us at 541-432-6000 to book over the phone.
What types of payment does Mt Joseph Lodge accept?
We accept PayPal and major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We do not accept personal checks.
When do you take payment?
We require payment in full at the time of booking.
Do you charge a security deposit?
No. Mt. Joseph Lodge does not require a security deposit.
What do I do if I can’t make my reservation or need to change dates?
Stays from May 16 to October 31 can be canceled 30 days in advance for a full refund, and cancellations made within 30 days are nonrefundable unless we are able to rerent the unit. Stays from November 1 through May 15 can be canceled with 24 hour notice for a full refund. If you need to change the dates of your stay or have extenuating circumstances, call or email us and we will try to accommodate you.
What is the cleaning fee?
We charge a one-time cleaning fee of $150 for the Copper Lodge. This pays for the house to be meticulously cleaned before your stay including the towels, linens, kitchen, bathroom and common areas.
What are motel taxes?
Motel taxes are charged at a rate of 9.8% to the nightly rate and cleaning fee. These taxes are paid to the city, county and State of Oregon. The tax rate for the lake house is 6.8% and is paid to the county and State.
